What the Snowflake Really Represents

You’ve probably heard that one before. It wouldn’t be too surprising to hear the insult snowflake in a schoolyard, along with “crybaby” and “pussy.” However, this insult is now a normal part of the lexicon of so many fully grown adults that the term is used by (supposedly) professional journalists. Snowflake is a rhetorical tool that decries the supposed oversensitivity of the younger generation for not having their lives together or not pulling up those notorious bootstraps high enough.
